Catch it all at the first ever “Pop-Up Sunday” concert as “Barefoot Davis” comes to town Sunday, June18th all the way from Saint Thomas Island. In typical island style, “Barefoot Davis”(AKA Davis Murray) is very laissez-faire; in his biography, and I quote verbatim: “i was born and i am still alive, did a lot of stuff in between.” You can check out Davis and his music on his website at: www.barefootdavis.net or on Facebook. His 2014 CD “Barefoot Dreamin’” as well as his 3 other albums can be sampled on his website.
Davis is flying in to play at a wedding in Virginia earlier in the weekend and as he played at the Maritime Park on June 7th 2015 really wanted to come back. Let’s all welcome him!
From Davis in Saint thomas: : “Looking forward to performing again there.I wil bring Island country sounds featuring Barefoot Davis singing original tunes as well as popular cover tunes. I will be bringing Derek Escher from Rhode Island on lead guitar and mandolin and, of course …topping off with Khalfani Benjamin from St Thomas on Steel Pan Drum. thanks again, Barefoot”
